Francesco Correale is Head of Group Regulatory Affairs, UniCredit S.p.A. – Milan, Italy. Together with his team he is ensuring a proactive role in the evolution of regulation, promoting the analysis and evaluation of potential impacts and coordinating relations with the relevant authorities as well as managing relations with the banking supervisory and resolution authorities at European and national level.

Francesco Correale has been part of UniCredit team  for 15 years. Before taking on his current position he was Head of Strategy and Benchmarking and before that - Head of Staff to the CEO – UniCredit S.p.A. He has extensive knowledge of the banking sector with focus on M&A process management.
