The Bulgarian Andrian Todorov with horse Pitipliach became first in the UniCredit Bulbank Prix 2009, which was held in Albena on 14th of June 2009. The event is part of CSIO** W – The World horse jumping competition of the International Equestrian Federation.
Jockeys from Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary and many more took part in the event. The Turkish competitors became second and third.
It is interesting that the horse jumping is a discipline, in which men and women compete side by side. A Bulgarian lady – Alexandra Arabadjieva with horse Contender was in the top 10 of the UniCredit Bulbank Prix 2009.
Andrian Todorov was awarded by the Varna Regional Corporate Director of UniCredit Bulbank Ms. Yordanka Panova and by the General Secretary of the Bulgarian Horse Federation Dr. Krum Rashkov.
The world cup for horse jumping is the most prestigious competition organized annually by the International Equestrian Federation. A series of tournaments are organized in different countries and will culminate in the final, which will be held this year in Las Vegas.
