After his successful term of office, the outgoing Director Michele Amadei continues his career as Head for the Asia Pacific Region of UniCredit

Antoaneta Curteanu becomes Director of Corporate and Investment Banking and Private Banking at UniCredit Bulbank and Member of the Management Board of the bank.

She has more than 18 years of experience at UniCredit. Since 2010 she has been Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Leasing Romania. Previously she has held high-level management positions at the Romanian bank of UniCredit as Head of Global Transactions and Deputy Head of Corporate Banking in the period 2007-2010. In 2005-2007 she was Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of UniCredit Romania.

Antoaneta Curteanu is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest and the Graduate School of Banking in Louisiana State University. She is the author of the book "Factoring in International Trade" and is a founding member of the Business Women Network Association in Romania.

Her consistent focus on achieving good business results and her leadership skills contributed to her being announced "Chief Executive Officer of the Year" in Romania in 2012. Forbes Romania included her in the list of the top 50 most influential business ladies in the country in 2014 and awarded her for exceptional achievements in the field of financial services at the ladies gala evening of the magazine in 2015.
