Despite the crisis the global factoring market registered a 22% growth
Asya Baeva is the new executive officer of UniCredit Factoring in Bulgaria. She has over 16 years of experience in the banking sector, in particular in the field of corporate strategy, planning and sales management. She started her career in the branch network of UniCredit in 1996.
Since 2003 Asya Baeva has worked as head of Commercial Strategy, head of Corporate Clients and deputy head of Corporate, Investment and Private Banking Division. She was manager of the project for the launch of the factoring business in UniCredit Bulbank in 2004-2005 and during the integration between Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebrosbank she managed the merger processes in the field of corporate banking, sales and derivatives.
The outgoing executive officer of UniCredit Factoring in Bulgaria, Filip Genov, moves to a new role in UniCredit and becomes head of Business Development in Marketing Department, UniCredit Factoring, Italy.
UniCredit Factoring is a market leader in Bulgaria in the field of factoring. Factoring marks significant growth over the recent years despite the crisis. Global growth for last year compared to 2010 stands at 22%, to EUR 2 trillion.
The factoring market in Bulgaria registered over a 50% growth in 2011 against the previous year with internal factoring having the largest share, followed by export factoring.
