Teodora Petkova, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank has received the Banker of the Year 2020 Award for the trust of the shareholders and for the continuity of the sustainable development in the annual awards of THE BANKER newspaper.  The award to the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank was presented to her by the deputy prime minister Tomislav Donchev, who congratulated her on the good results.

The organizers from THE BANKER emphasized that the award goes to Teodora Petkova for the smooth transition she made between the previous and current management of UniCredit Bulbank, which also has been highly appreciated by the bank's shareholders.

“In fact, the year 2020 for me is the first full calendar year in which I am at the head of the bank. I am thankful for it being a difficult one, because it is the year of many challenges. At the same time, it is the year of many possibilities, too. Thus one manages quite fast to toughen and learn many life and managerial lessons”, commented Teodora Petkova and thanked THE BANKER for the award and for having organized the event.

The CEO of UniCredit Bulbank also expressed her thanks to the clients of UniCredit Bulbank for the good partnership and to the team of the Bank for their commitment in this unprecedented situation.

This is not the only individual award of Teodora Petkova. In 2019, she received the prestigious award “Mrs. Economics”.
