The integrated service platform Bulbank Pay of UniCredit Bulbank is the big winner in the Corporate Sector category of the annual awards for IT Project of the Year of ICT Media and Computerworld, which are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.
Dr. Anna-Marie Vilamovska, Secretary for Healthcare and Innovations of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, handed the award to Pepa Koleva, Head of ICT Management Department at UniCredit Bulbank.

This award is a recognition for the team of UniCredit Bulbank, the priority of which has always been to seek new modern solutions. That was a really innovative project, which we started with much difficulty because there had been no such solutions in Bulgaria before. I would like to thank our partners from Borica Bankservice, DAIS, Datamax and Nevexis, which, jointly with the team of the bank, did a great job. Each one of you can see the end result. The service Bulbank Pay makes convenient the payment of the monthly bills for electricity, phone, TV, water, etc. It is available through all modern channels used by the customers nowadays – computer, smartphone or ATM. The payment is easy and fast – with only a few clicks in the Internet and online banking of UniCredit Bulbank or with a debit card at over 750 АТМ devices of the bank across the country. The customers may benefit also from a number of other options – they can memorize their payments, receive notifications about new liabilities, and they can also adjust the settings so as to make automatic payments or transfers by applying various rules, limits, etc.
The platform is very popular also among service providers which offer to their subscribers other alternatives for payment of the monthly bills in a way preferred by the subscriber. Bulbank Pay supports many variants for integration with providers, fully in line with all specifics and requirements for communication, data exchange, booking of payments and reporting.
The jury appreciated highly the fact that the platform has a modern, service-oriented architecture, which facilitates its expansion with new channels and providers.
