More than 490 interns participated in the internship programme last year and 25% of them continued their career in the bank.

UniCredit Bulbank gives a chance to more than 400 talented students and young professionals to start their career with 2014 Internship Programme. It is conducted for eighth consecutive year and since 2007 to present date more than 2000 interns made their first career steps with UniCredit Bulbank. Last year 25% of almost 500 interns got a job with the bank.

In 2014, the future interns can choose from positions all across the country in the branch network of the bank, in the companies of the Group and in the Head Office in the following areas: Retail Banking, Financial Markets and Brokerage; Corporate and Private Banking; Information Technologies; Operations; Risk Management and Non-performing Loans; Bank Security; Customer Satisfaction and Service; Marketing and Advertising; Identity and Communications; Human Resources and Call Centre.

The internship is of original duration of 3 months and depending on if the intern wants to and if it is possible for the bank, it may be extended up to 6 months. The interns will receive monthly remuneration. For participants in the programme who have to balance between their commitment with the bank and attending lectures, the bank offers flexible internship options.

This year the bank joins the project of CSR Bulgaria for development of socially responsible practices in companies doing business in Bulgaria. The project provides a possibility to young professionals, being approved for the internship programme, to add value to their stay in the company, working on a case chosen by them, which supports the sustainable development of the company.
