UniCredit Bulbank gives a chance to its customers to win 40 tickets for matches from UEFA Champions League and many other awards

UniCredit Bulbank puts fans in the highlight. From today until 31 January 2010 all who open a Fan deposit can win tickets for a match from the UEFA Champions League. The Bank has put aside 40 tickets and in addition will take care of the overall organization of the trip for the winners. Many other awards will be distributed as well.

In this way the Bank will stir up the interest of its customers not only with attractive interests but also with the launching of a special deposit for fans. Fan deposit was created as part of the many initiatives related to UniCredit Group’s sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League, prepared for Bulgaria. In addition to an attractive product, the Bank will make happy football fans in Bulgaria with a six-day visit of the original Trophy of the UEFA Champions League in Bulgaria during which all fans will be able to see and take a picture with the trophy.

Customer willing to “enter the game” with Fan deposit can choose between two periods:

- Standard match – 2X45 days or 3 month deposit;

- Match with extra time - 2X45 days + 2X15 or 4 month deposit.

For both deposits the longer the client stays in the game the better his/her score. In financial terms this means a growing interest for the second period. Thus for example in the case of three-month deposits for the first 45 day period the client receives an interest of 5.9% for BGN savings, and for the second period the interest growth to 6%. For the four-month deposit, during the first period of 90 days the interest in BGN is 6.05%, and the extra times of 30 days earn a 6.10% interest.

In addition every client can choose his/her team and open a deposit in BGN, EUR, USD, GBP or CHF. The minimum “transfer” amount is 500 BGN, 250 EUR/USD/GBP, 400 CHF.

However, unlike real matches, clients with Fan deposit are entitled to unlimited replacements on the team in the form of unlimited further paying in of amounts during the term of the deposit, possibility for transfer or withdrawal of the interest and principal on the maturity date without fees and commissions. The only “foul” is to withdraw amounts from the principal before the maturity date.

All who join the Fan deposit’s team by opening such a deposit not later than 31.01.2010 will participate in a lottery with a big prize – tickets for a UEFA Champions League match and additional prize – sports bag.

About the market:

Despite the attractive interests offered by banks since the beginning of this year for deposit products as of the end of August the deposits of the members of the public have increased with mere 2.7% compared to their volumes in the beginning of 2009. Thus savings of the members of the public total BGN 22.9 billion. For comparison, a year earlier, the total volume of deposits of the members of the public totaled BGN 21.6 billion, and in percentage terms the increase since the beginning of the (2008) was 13%.
