Deutsche Bank presented UniCredit Bulbank with the 2007 EUR STP Excellence Award

This is the forth time the Bulgarian bank is prized for its excellence in payments quality

Deutsche Bank awarded UniCredit Bulbank with an annual prize for excellence of international payments quality, recognized as Straight-Through Processing (STP) Excellence Award. This is the forth time the Bulgarian bank is prized for its excellence in payments quality. The bank has such recognitions also from JP Morgan Chase, Bank of New York, American Express, etc.

The Deutsche Bank valuation means that the international payments of UniCredit Bulbank are according to the required global standards. So called STP Ratio index shows what part of the whole payments are according to the international regulations.

On a global level the average STP ratio is about 89-90% (which means that at every 100 payments 89-90 are according to the all standards), while the UniCredit Bulbank STP ratio for the past year is over 98%.

UniCrdedit Bulbank is the biggest Bulgarian bank with assets over 9 billion leva to end of 2007. The bank has the highest credit rating BBB+ by the competent rating agency Standard and Poor’s. The bank’s rating is equal to the rating of Bulgaria.
