• Andrea Tognetti, Director of the Human Resources Department and Velko Dzhilizov, Director of Legal Department have joined the management team of the bank

Two new members join the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank. After receiving the regulatory approvals, Andrea Tognetti, Director of Human Resources, and Velko Dzhilizov, Director of the Legal Department, officially became members of the Board of the largest bank in the country. In addition to being a member of the Management Board, Andrea Tognetti will also be the Executive Director of UniCredit Bulbank.

Andrea started his professional career in UniCredit group in 2001 in the Planning and Control Unit at the Chief Financial Officer of UniCredit Services, and in the period 2005-2012 he held the position of Director. In next years he held various positions in areas related to planning, training and development of the human resources, remuneration and benefits, having held the positions of Senior Business Partner in Human Resources and Human Resources Manager.

From 2018 he was elected for Director of Human Resources Department in UniCredit Hungary, and since November 1, 2020 he holds the position Director of the Human Resources Department in UniCredit Bulbank AD.

Velko Dzhilizov, Director of the Legal Department has also joined the Management Board of the Bank since August. He started his career in Bulbank in 1996 holding various positions in areas related to internal audit, risk management, legal and compliance having held the position of Senior Manager of Legal Service to Corporate, Investment and Private Banking Customers, and in this position he participated as a legal consultant in some of the largest project finance transactions in Bulgaria.

From 2012 he holds the positions Deputy Head of Legal and Compliance, Head of Legal and Compliance and Head of Legal Department in UniCredit Bulbank and its subsidiaries in Bulgaria.
