Forty UniCredit experts from 11 countries - Austria, Bosna and Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Russia, Serbia, and Slovenia - proudly graduated this week from the first multinational ESG Academy, a comprehensive certification program, delivered in cooperation with The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". 

The ESG Academy in English is a pioneering executive education initiative in Southeast Europe.

Professors from Bulgaria, Greece, The Netherlands, and Belgium delivered up-to-date practical knowledge in 5 modules in the areas of ​​​​​​Sustainable finance; ESG Management, Environmental pillar of sustainability; Green and circular economy; Social pillar of sustainability; ESG reporting and data requirements.

Prof. Marina Stefanova, PhD, are proud to be an academic partner of UniCredit for its sustainability education program. I believe this project is just the beginning, as the academic community and UniCredit have a lot more to do together and there will be many others who will follow UniCredit's steps.”, said during the official graduation ceremony Associate Professor Atanas Georgiev, PhD, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University.
