UniCredit won a total of 18 awards in the international ranking, and CEO Andrea Orcel is Banker of the Year

UniCredit Bulbank is Best Corporate Bank in Bulgaria in the latest ranking of the international Euromoney publication. The prestigious accolades were presented at a ceremony in London.

Banks from the UniCredit Group received a total of 18 awards, including "Banker of the Year" for CEO Andrea Orcel in recognition of his outstanding leadership and the excellent results achieved by UniCredit in 2023 thanks to the UniCredit Unlocked strategic plan. UniCredit's awards also include regional prizes for "Best Wealth Management Bank" and "Best Transaction Services Bank" for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

UniCredit Bulbank is the undisputed leader in corporate banking in the country with a market share of over 20% in corporate lending (as of the end of the first quarter of the year). The Bank is the main financial partner of companies operating in Bulgaria - two out of three companies with turnover up to BGN 100 million work with UniCredit Bulbank and three out of four large companies (with turnover over BGN 100 million per year) are also UniCredit Bulbank customers.
