Fitch Affirms Bulgaria's UniCredit Bulbank at Support "1"

Fitch Ratings has today affirmed Bulgaria-based UniCredit Bulbank's (UCB) Support rating at "1".

UniCredit Bulbank's Support rating is based on the high potential support the bank can expect to receive from its ultimate shareholder, UniCredit, in the event of need. UC owns a 90.3% stake in UniCredit Bulbank, held indirectly through its 96.3%-owned subsidiary Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, which is responsible for the group's CEE business.
