UniCredit Studio Gallery will open on 10 December the exhibition “Velvet Christmas Magic”. Its author is Irina Florin who is a notable artist in music but now for the first time she presents her works in the field of applied arts.

Without a doubt the exhibition is a new and quite curious artistic role of Irina Florin who demonstrates an innovative approach to classical painting. The works presented have as their basis the works of world masters of the brush. For their realization in around 20 canvases, the most modern digital technologies for offset printing with multimillion colours on the classical natural materials silk and velvet have been employed.

The works of Irina Florin are inspired by some of the most emotionally charged pictures of renowned painters such as Klimt, Renoir, Van Gogh. Their emotional paint works correspond well with carefully selected works in Art Nouveau style.

Without neglecting music, which is her strongest passion, in the past few years Irina Florin has entered the field of design with a number of artistic collections dedicated to female beauty, which indisputably are dominated by her sense of elegance.

There could hardly be a better time to present the newest works of Irina Florin than the eve of the brightest holidays at the end of the year. Her canvases naturally reminisce of home comfort and warmth.

The exhibition “Velvet Christmas Magic” by Irina Florin will be open to the public from 11 December until 15 January 2013, free admission.

The modern art gallery UniCredit Studio was opened in January this year and so far it has hosted 5 exhibitions of more than 20 Bulgarian and foreign authors. Bulgaria was selected among more than 20 European countries to host the first UniCredit Studio after the gallery established in Italy. The mission of the studio is to present young and interesting Bulgarian and international artists and to provide a platform for their modern art work.
