UniCredit Bulbank has won the prestigious award "The Best Bank in Bulgaria 2014" of the international financial edition Global Finance. Besides earning this high recognition, UniCredit Bulbank also gained the top ranking as the best custodian bank, the best trade finance bank and the best forex trading bank in Bulgaria.

The award presented by Joseph Giarraputo, publisher of Global Finance, was received personally by the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank, Mr. Levon Hampartzoumian, at an official ceremony held in Washington.

The criteria for determining the winners by countries include financial indicators, scope of services provided, significant innovations, customer service, technological innovations, etc. For greater accuracy of the results, this year for the first time a poll among the corporate readers of the prestigious edition was also included. The reader poll, based on which determining the best bank, includes 22 countries on four continents. UniCredit Bulbank wins this award for the ninth consecutive year.

In 2014, UniCredit Bulbank is celebrating its 50 Anniversary. Confident about the future, the bank continues to work FOR its clients, FOR its employees and FOR the local communities. Since the beginning of this year, UniCredit Bulbank has been ranked first in a number of other categories as well - by Emea Finance for the Best Bank in Bulgaria, the Most Innovative Bank Product for 2013 for Cash M transfers and Best HR strategy for leadership development for 2013, by the Bulgarian Association for People Management.
