The bank has been recognized in two of three rating categories in the sphere of securities services in the last survey, carried out by the specialized magazine Global Custodian

UniCredit Bulbank has been recognized for its excellent securities services in Bulgaria for the eight year in a row in the 2012 Agent Banks in Emerging Markets Survey, published by the international magazine Global Custodian.

UniCredit Bulbank is the only Bulgarian bank that is Top Rated in the “Leading Clients” category – indeed, this is the first time a Bulgarian bank receives the Top Rated award in the category.

“Leading clients serve as the gold standard in this survey”, states The Global Custodian on its website. UniCredit Bulbank is also Top Rated in the “Cross Border/Non-Affiliated Clients” category, thus retaining its position of an undisputed leader in the custody market in Bulgaria.

The magazine performs the Agent Banks in Emerging Markets Survey among the custodian banks’ clients on an annual basis. Participating clients complete an extensive questionnaire which covers a wide range of custody service areas (value & commitment, client service, corporate actions, technology, reporting, etc.) and measures the overall perception of securities services quality.
