The right attitude to the ever-changing environment is also one of the essential qualities of jobseekers.
The good job candidate is flexible and agile. This is a conclusion drawn by Hana Citbajova, Head of HR at UniCredit Bulbank at the forum “Career in Bulgaria. Why not?”, hosted by Identity for Bulgaria Foundation and Tuk-Tam Association. According to her, the right people are also those with the right attitude to the constantly changing environment.
“The values of a company’s employees should match those of the company itself in order for both to be satisfied. When choosing an employer, it is good for people to have inquired into its values and see whether they recognize them as their own or not”, the Head of HR at UniCredit Bulbank clarified.
Hana Citbajova, who has been in Bulgaria since the beginning of the year, shared her impressions of the country and of her collaboration with Bulgarians. She finds people here very approachable, ready to cooperate and always going the extra mile. She is convinced that despite the changing environment, the well-educated and working Bulgarians manage to cope with the challenges and prove what they are capable of.
“The truth is that not success itself but the road to success is what makes us happy. Here I can see positive-minded, smiling and optimistic people. This is one of the big advantages of Bulgaria”, Hana Citbajova added.
The forum “Career in Bulgaria. Why not?” takes place for an 8th year already, and has so far attracted over 7,000 candidates looking for professional development in Bulgaria, from over 45 countries. In the last 4 years the event has been under the patronage of the President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev.
According to information of the hosts, this year also the candidates for jobs in Bulgaria are over 1,000 people with experience in 54 countries. The biggest number of candidates is of those coming from the UK – 20%, followed by the USA and Germany with 10% each.
