COO of UniCredit Bulbank Mr. Andrea Casini was awarded Banker of the year 2010 in the prestigious annual contest of Banker weekly. The acknowledgements for the best bankers were given on a ceremony yesterday evening.

“The winner has international experience in CEE. Thanks to the sensible way he managed the bank in the difficult 2010, UniCredit Bulbank is going through the crisis in more untroubled way than the other banks”, the jury of the contest explained its choice.

“It is an honour for me to receive this award, not only as a sign of recognition for my efforts, but also as sign of the good work done by the entire team of UniCredit Bulbank. This is why I would like to thank my colleagues and first of all Levon Hampartzoumian for his constant support and friendship.

We are at the end of another difficult year, but I have the feeling, that despite the crisis the banking system confirmed its crucial and unique role in supporting the Bulgarian economy and our customers.
