UniCredit Consumer Financing was advised that an employee of the entity, based in Sofia, has tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus. UniCredit Consumer Financing is in ongoing contact with the affected employee to ensure he/she gets all the support possible and wishes him/her a speedy recovery.

In accordance with the health authority's instructions, the facility where the colleague worked was cleaned and disinfected.

UniCredit Consumer Financing has contacted all employees who may have been in close and recent contact with the individual and is also in process of contacting clients who have been in close and recent contact with the individual for which we have registered record, advising them to self-quarantine for 14 days and to follow the instructions of the health authorities.

UniCredit in Bulgaria, through UniCredit Bulbank and its subsidiaries has already implemented the following precautionary measures in the last weeks:

• UniCredit Bulbank encourages all employees to rely on agreed alternative work solutions, such as remote working from home;
• The Bank works actively to ensure a wide range of its banking services in a simple, fast and secure way without having to visit a branch via digital channels;
• In Branches customers are kindly invited to follow the recommendation of 2 meter distance from each other and staff and strongly recommended to wear protective scarves or masks for on their nose and mouth.
• On 22 February 2020 UniCredit put in place a Group-wide non-essential domestic and international travel ban. This was in addition to the previously implemented business travel ban to, from and within Asia and to from and within the affected areas in Northern Italy.
