Innovations in favour of the customer: Now we can also get mobile devices on hire purchase in the branch office network of UniCredit Bulbank

The new Bulbank Mobile version integrates one of the latest smartphone innovations – fingerprint security, as well as intuitive interface for tablets.

Now we can also get mobile devices on hire purchase in the branch office network of UniCredit Bulbank. Since at the end of last year the revolutionary change in the model of offering bank products enabled the customers to purchase a car directly from a branch office of the bank, now this is possible also with mobile phones, tablets and Samsung TV sets. The aim is to provide greater convenience and maximum amount of services with a high added value in one place for the customers.

Customers can purchase the hi-tech gadgets via the website of the bank, by calling the customer service center and by visiting a branch office of UniCredit Bulbank. The customers of the bank can order a tablet or a smartphone on hire purchase at a preferential price with no fees and commissions for the loan servicing. The submission and processing of the documents takes approximately 15 minutes and the customer will receive the ordered item within 5 days at an address provided by him/her.

The Samsung mobile devices are completely compatible with Bulbank Mobile, the bank’s updated mobile banking app. It integrates one of the latest smartphone innovations – fingerprint security. Thus, Bulbank Mobile customers have one more instrument for protecting their funds in the virtual space - by biometric data. In the newest version of the app, the customer is identified with the saved fingerprint. For additional security, after he/she enters into the system in so doing, he/she will have to enter his/her PIN code as well.

The Mobile banking of UniCredit Bulbank may also be used with tablets. Similar to the smartphone version, the Bulbank Mobile app has an improved, intuitive interface, adapted to work with the bigger sensor devices. After activating the app, directly from the mobile device, the customer can monitor the current balance and movements on bank accounts, information on debit and credit cards and loans.

The fingerprint authorization is a hardware function of the latest smartphone models. It allows to unlock the device or to recognize the owner when using apps. The option is activated by the users of Bulbank Mobile from the app itself.

Last year, UniCredit Bulbank developed and implemented many innovations in its alternative banking channels. The new mobile banking version, which is also based on gesture commands, led to an increase in the number of customers and transactions by more than 100%. For the convenience of the customer, now he/she can, via the online banking, conclude a Third Party Liability insurance, draw up a personal savings plan, or even purchase a car via the bank. Thus, the online requests for bank products and services have grown by around 40% on an annual basis. At the same time, customers perform 70% of their daily operations entirely via the alternative banking channels – online or at the self-service zones.
