Banks with strong regional presence leave significant imprint in this year's ranking of Euromoney for cash management. Nearly 35 000 companies and financial institutions have voted in the survey Cash Survey Management 2016, which is a record-high number of votes for selection of the best institutions. The survey of Euromoney has led to shifts in the ranking.

More than 32 000 commercial enterprises and over 2200 financial institutions have voted for more than 300 banks that provide cash management services. The banks which have global possibilities, but are more regionally focused, have moved up in top 10: the Italian UniCredit Group enters Top 5 of the ranking, says the official communication of Euromoney.

UniCredit Bulbank is the "Best Cash Manager" in Bulgaria for 2016. In addition to Bulgaria, the UniCredit banks in Austria, Hungary, Romania and Turkey too are ranked first by countries.

"In the Euromoney survey, the customers have shared that they have real benefits from the banks' enhanced focus on the providing of global transactions services. This, and the result of UniCredit in the ranking, show that we are on the right path as regards the requirements of the business customers. We accept it as a challenge for constant improvement",commented Antoaneta Curteanu, Member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank and Director of Corporate and Investment Banking and Private Banking Division. According to the analysis of Euromoney 88% of the interviewed customers in the global survey think that now there is greater competition with regard to the offered services and 89% have stated that the greater competition has resulted in improved quality of the provided services. This has led also to reduction of the costs: 79% have responded that the increased competition has influenced favourably the price of the services for management of global transactions.
