The alternative forms of saving, such as the opening of an investments plan and the investments in a pension fund, give an opportunity to everyone to achieve their own financial goals by putting aside small amounts, but regularly. The products of greatest significance on this market now and the key factors for success in investments were presented to clients in Burgas by the experts of UniCredit Bulbank, Pioneer Investments and Allianz Bulgaria during the joint Investment Day conference of the three financial institutions. The conference was organized for the first time in 2016 in Sofia. After the successful first edition, in addition to the capital city this year the Investment Day takes place also in the two big sea cities.
A market survey by UniCredit Bulbank shows that the average term of a deposit is 7 years and its average amount is BGN 4. “Considering this, the investment in an investments plan requires a much smaller amount, but one that is put aside regularly,” said Krum Alexiev, Head of Marketing and Segments Department of UniCredit Bulbank. He pointed out that the wrong idea that investing requires large amounts is among the main issues that stop the clients. Other concerns that are unreasonable are that these products are mainly for legal entities, that there is a risk of losing the savings and that they are only for a long term. “With the Investment Day conference we want to show clients that currently, together with Pioneer Investments and our partners from Allianz Bulgaria, we offer many and diverse products that have addressed successfully all these concerns,” said Alexiev.
Yavor Achev, Manager of Pioneer Investments for Bulgaria, who was among the participants in the conference, gave an example of the importance of the regularity of the investment. According to calculations, regular installments can result in profitability twice as higher as that from a one-off investment. The other “golden rules” for future investors are to not give in to panic in case of market decline, to trust the professionals, to aim to save in diverse forms and to start saving as early as possible.
