The Mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov, together with representatives of Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank officially opened the renovated lightning system of South Park. The renewal is done thanks to the financial support of the three Banks

More than 300 light pillars are reconstructed and hundreds of meters of cable are laid. Currently all main alleys of South Park are lighted thanks to the automated system that switches on at dark.

The support of Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank was announced at the end of last year. This is the first mutual effort of the three Banks, part of UniCredit Group in Bulgaria, supporting the local society.

The planned merger of Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank will create the leading Bulgarian bank with total assets of EUR 3 billion, 324 branches and over 1 million customers.

The new bank will be a part of the largest banking network in Central and Eastern Europe. UniCredit Group is a strong European banking network which serves more than 28 million customers via 7,000 offices in 20 countries
