Jasna Mandac, Head of Market, Liquidity and Operational Risk, Risk Integration and Internal Validation in Zagrebacka Banka, will be the new Chief Financial Officer of the bank.

We are sure that coming from one of the leading banks in the Group – Zagrebacka, she will bring valuable experience and ideas to strengthen UniCredit Bulbank’s leadership position in the country,” said Levon Hampartzoumian, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank.

Besides Chief Financial Officer, Jasna Mandac will become also a member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank after obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.

Jasna Mandac has an extensive experience in finance and risk management.  She joined the Finance Division of Zagrebacka Banka in 2005. She was consecutively Head of Strategy, Planning, Budgeting and Controlling, Head of Asset and Liability Management and now she is Head of Market, Liquidity and Operational Risk, Risk Integration and Internal Validation. Jasna Mandac is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is one of the participants in the Group development programme UniFuture.

In this sense I am certain that I will be able to transfer quite a few working practices at my new position. I believe that together with the entire team of Finance Division, which has proven its professionalism throughout the years, we will have lots of success,” commented Jasna Mandac.  

She will replace at her current position Emilia Palibachiyska, who, after 15 years on management positions in UniCredit, will enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Emilia Palibachiyska started her career in UniCredit in 2002 as Executive Director and Member of the Management Board of HVB Bank Biochim, being in charge of the following departments: Controlling, Accounting, Operations, Organization and Project Management, Legal Services, Internal Audit, Banking and Economy Analyses. After five years on this position, since 2007 Emilia Palibachiyska has been Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank, with areas of responsibility: Planning and Controlling, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting, Asset and Liability Management, Economic Research.
