It is now possible for the customers of UniCredit Bulbank to order international transfers in euro (SEPA transfers) using their smart phone. Customers have already been actively using the new functionality of the mobile banking application Bulbank Mobile and only one month after its launching the transfers amount is almost 2 million euro.
Apart from the option to make international euro transfers, the mobile banking application of the largest bank has recently introduced a couple of new functions to make baking even simpler for consumers and spare them time. These functions include the possibility to return a transfer to the account from which it has been received in a fast and simple way using the option Return a transfer, and the simplified logging using biometric data, by means of a fingerprint or face recognition, in the mobile token (М-token), incorporated in Bulbank Mobile.
The revamped design of Bulbank Mobile and its new functionalities make more customers of the bank use it regularly. The growth of the number of users of the mobile banking application in the past year is almost 30%.

Bulbank Mobile is a multi-functional mobile banking application. It offers the customers of UniCredit Bulbank a large variety of options for transfers made directly from the application: transfer between accounts of the user, transfer to other accounts, payment to the budget, payment of utility bills and the convenient functionality Scan and pay using a QR code, which saves users the necessity to fill in an IBAN or collect money for a present or for a lunch with the colleagues, instead, it is fast and simple.
The customers’ everyday purchases have also been taken into consideration. The application incorporates a Digital wallet, and customers can add (digitalize) their cards issued by the bank and then make contactless payments at POS terminal devices using their smart phone only.
Customers can save time that they would otherwise spend in branches by requesting various products and sign entirely online the necessary documents for their new debit card and have it delivered at a specific address, the agreement on their new consumer loan, overdraft or credit card.
Another convenient feature of the mobile banking application of UniCredit Bulbank is the fast access to the account balance without logging into the application, using the Widget functionality, which provides an option for fast access to specific menus in the mobile application. Last but not least comes the functionality Lock and Unlock for cards issued by the bank, which makes it possible for the customers to control the debit and credit cards that they use.
