Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank takes part in the celebrations of the University’s 120th anniversary

UniCredit Bulbank’s Chief Executive Officer Levon Hampartzoumian was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University. Supported by the Academic Council of the most prestigious higher educational institution in Bulgaria, Mr. Hampartzoumian was first elected Member of the Board of Trustees and then his colleagues from the board appointed him a Chairman.

“We are profoundly convinced that your professional and social expertise will contribute to the further development of St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University as the main national higher educational, research, cultural and informational center of high international renown”, the letter to Mr. Hampartzoumian from Sofia University Rector Ph.D. Professor Ivan Ilchev read.

In his new role of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, UCB’s Chief Executive Officer participated in the procession, which sort of culminated the celebrations of the University’s 120th anniversary.

In the procession that started off from the University’s Main building and walked all the way to the National Theatre also took part President Georgi Parvanov, Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev and many students and graduates of Sofia University.
