Among the advice given by the top management of the bank to the two young students was how to become successful managers and good public speakers

Two of the participants in the initiative Manager for a Day – Desislava Gencheva and Preslav Prodanov opened together with the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank, Mr. Levon Hampartzoumian, a press conference given by the bank on the subject “New Trends in the Management of Personal Wealth”. The two students received advice on how to become successful managers and good public speakers, as well as on which are the most important things in the management of the largest bank in the country.

Desislava is a sophomore in Business Administration at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Preslav is a third-year student in Finance at the University for National and World Economy. At the end of the conference, in the presence of journalists, Mr. Hampartzoumian gave the students certificates for their participation in Manager for a Day.

„Today was an exceptionally interesting and useful day for me, being able to see from the inside how the largest bank in the country operates, the enthusiasm of the people and their motivation to develop“, shared Desislava Gencheva in her role as a “manager for a day”.

Besides meeting Mr.Hampartzoumian, the two young economists met also Mr. Michele Amadei, Head of CIB & PB, as well as Mr. Ivan Dzhonov, Head of Private Banking at UniCredit Bulbank. The two young managers got acquainted also with the work of Commercial Strategy, Financial Markets and Customer Service and Satisfaction departments. Apart from all that, Desislava and Pleslav learned how the largest branch of the bank – Sveta Nedelya ¬– functions and what the specifics in its operations are.

The Manager for a Day initiative gives a possibility for students countrywide to experience a real working day of representatives of the business circles, state institutions and NGOs. The eleventh edition of the event, which was carried out under the auspices of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Simeon Dyankov, gives a possibility to more than 1000 entrepreneurial young people to visit 270 leading companies, organizations and state institutions.
