The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of UniCredit Bulbank has today adopted changes in the leadership of the Internal Audit Department in UniCredit Bulbank. From his duties as Head of Internal Audit Department in the bank at his request was released Renato Terragno and in its place was chosen Lorenzo De Angelis.

Lorenzo De Angelis is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and member of the AIIA (Institute of Internal Auditors – Italian Chapter). He has a degree in Banking Economics and after an initial experience in an External Audit firm, in 2001 he joined the team of UniCredit Group. Throughout the years he developed a sound experience in auditing activities, mainly in Italy. For a period of four years he managed a team in the Parent Company responsible to review the audit methodology framework of UniCredit Group.

Since October 2014 he has been in the role of Head of Internal Audit of UniCredit Bank Slovenija.

Within this experience, Lorenzo De Angelis has participated in a number of Group internal training initiatives on audit topics, covering the whole perimeter of UniCredit Group - Italy, Germany. Austria, Ireland, CEE.

Renato Terragno who leaves the position after 4 years due to personal reasons received sincerely thanks for his contribution in the development of the Internal Audit Department. Terragno has enhanced the cooperation of the department with other structures of the bank and has contributed to the professional development of the team.

At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders were adopted also amendments to the Statutes of UniCredit Bulbank bank related to the transfer of ownership of shares of the bank from UniCredit Bank Austria to UniCredit SpA Italy due to Project intragroup reorganization of the banking activities in Central and Eastern Europe (DeLorean Project).
