UniCredit Bulbank has been named the Best Subcustodian Bank of 2015 in Bulgaria by the international magazine Global Finance. The Bank is a leading custodian in Bulgaria and provides a variety of securities services to a wide range of domestic and international clients, among which pension and investment funds, banks and insurance companies, broker-dealers and global custodians.

UniCredit has also been recognised as 2015 Best Subcustodian Bank for CEE, with best subcustodian status awarded not only in Bulgaria, but also in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovenia.

Global Finance World’s Best Subcustodian Banks awards have been announced for the thirteenth time, with criteria for selection of winners including customer relations, quality of service, competitive pricing, smooth handling of exception items, technology platforms, post-settlement operations, business continuity plans and knowledge of local regulations and practices.

Global Finance is a globally-recognised magazine with focus on international finance. Its readers include multinational companies and financial institutions in 180 countries.

Since the beginning of 2015, UniCredit Bulbank won the Best Bank in Bulgaria for 2015 Award by Global Finance and EMEA Finance. The largest bank in Bulgaria won the Best trade finance bank award by Global Finance and Euromoney. The international finance magazine Global Finance gave two other awards to UniCredit for the whole CEE region – Best Bank for Private Banking in 2015 and Best Bank for Cash Management in 2015.
