The young violinists Martin and Aleksandar Zayranovi received the grand Stoyan Kambarev Flight in Art award for 2015

The prize was announced and awarded by the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank Levon Hampartzoumian and by the Chair of the Management Board of Stoyan Kambarev Foundation Desi Tenekedzhieva.

The painter Andrey Hambarski is the winner of the special award of UniCredit Bulbank – a solo exhibition at UniCredit Studio gallery.

The virtuoso young violinists Martin and Aleksandar Zayranovi, aged 16 and 13, won the grand Flight in Art award of Stoyan Kambarev Foundation for 2015. The talented children have as a teacher the world famous violinist Prof. Mario Hossen, known as "the Bulgarian Paganini" and they are students at the National School of Arts Dobri Hristov in the city of Varna.

Martin and Aleksandar Zayranovi won the prestigious prize for their impressive performances with the most distinguished Bulgarian symphony orchestras and for their professionalism and bright presence on the scene.

The winners were announced and awarded at a special ceremony last night by the Chair of the Management Board of Stoyan Kambarev Foundation Desi Tenekedzhieva and by the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank Levon Hampartzoumian. UniCredit Bulbank has been the official bank of Stoyan Kambarev art awards for a fourth consecutive year.

The two brothers fascinated the audience with a live performance at the elegant ceremony. Among the artists who supported the event with their performances were also Grafa and Mihaela Fileva.

The painter Andrey Hambarski, who was among the Flight in Art nominees, won the special award of UniCredit Bulbank – a solo exhibition at the modern art gallery UniCredit Studio. Andrey Hambarski was nominated for his sculpture technique, unique for Bulgaria, with which he shapes portraits of wire of famous foreign and Bulgarian artists.

The Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, too congratulated all the nominees for Stoyan Kambarev Flight in Art award for 2015. The prestigious awards are given after evaluation by an esteemed jury. This year among the nominees were also Elena Telbis – theatre actor, Anastasiya Sabeva – theatre director, Edi Shvartz and Yordan Petkov – scriptwriters and film makers.

Stoyan Kambarev award ceremony is part of the cultural calendar of the capital.

The award given by Stoyan Kambarev Foundation, named after the unforgettable theatre director, has become the most awaited and prestigious distinction for young artists in Bulgaria. The good thing about this award is that it is the only one that is not strictly specialized in a particular art, but intended for talented artists from different fields of art.
