On March 25th the outstanding artists of the National Ballet will dance again for the Bulgarian audience on the stage of Hall 1 at the National Palace of Culture, thanks to the support of the Embassy of Spain in Bulgaria and UniCredit Bulbank. The largest Bulgarian bank was the main sponsor of the first visit of the famous performers.

The performances, which they will present this time in Sofia, are Bolero by Ravel and The Seville Suite. The choreography is by Antonio Nahar, the artistic director of the theater.

The Spanish dancers have already presented their new repertoire abroad. They have toured in Japan, China, Taiwan and other countries in the Far East. The tickets were almost immediately completely sold out and the art of flamenco has become a favourite forever. The media were literally flooded with praising publications and with countless photos of the beautiful performances.

Since its establishment in 1978 until now the National Ballet has been associated with the creativity of dancers such as Joaquin Cortes, Eva Uerbabuena, Jose Antonio, Carmen Amara, Aurora Pons, Nana Lorca, Aida Gomez and many others. Nowadays, the National Ballet is still a formation of great kings of dancing that stages iconic works, preserving the national dance rhythm and promoting Spanish music and dance culture and craftsmanship worldwide.

The National Ballet was founded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and has a great international recognition and numerous awards. Lavish costumes, beautiful music, passionate dancing to the sounds of dozens of castanettes in the hands of the dancers – a fairy tale told without words, a life lived through magnificent dances.
