One of all the people who have their picture taken with the UEFA Champions League Trophy will win two tickets for a UEFA Champions League match, including accommodation in a hotel and a flight.

Today, the most precious trophy of European football officially entered Bulgaria through the Danube Bridge as part of its first European Tour, organized by UniCredit Group. The most powerful banking group in Central and Eastern Europe, which in Bulgaria is represented by UniCredit Bulbank, is an official sponsor of UEFA Champions League for the following three match seasons.

Right after its arrival in the country, the Trophy was officially welcomed by more than 1500 Rousse residents and guests to the city with a special ceremony, organized with support from Rousse municipality.

"We are extremely honoured by the fact that Rousse is the first city to welcome the Trophy of UEFA Champions League in Bulgaria”, said the mayor of Rousse Boxhidar Yotov, who gave the Trophy an exceptionally warm and enthusiastic welcome. UniCredit Bulbank’s regional director of Retail Banking, Todor Rachev, also welcomed the Trophy and promised to the people of Rousse that this event is not the end of the bank’s commitment to the city.

The initial plan was for the Trophy to stay in Rousse only for an hour, displayed on the special truck, which brought it, and because of the extremely high interest, all players of the local football team “Dunav” were allowed to step on the platform and embrace the most desired trophy for any football player.

Still today, the Trophy will continue its journey to Sofia where during the weekend (17th and 18th October) it will be available for all who want to feel like champions. Especially for the Trophy tour in Bulgaria, by invitation of UniCredit Group, the legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel will arrive.

The Trophy of UEFA Champions League will be displayed in a specially constructed pavilion in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre with free access for all who wish to see it between 12:00am and 20:00pm on 17th October and between 9:00am and 21:00pm on 18th October.

All fans who have their individual pictures taken with the Trophy will participate in a prize draw with the opportunity to win an unforgettable experience: To see live a match from the UEFA Champions League with a selected by them companion. Apart from the two tickets for a match from the most prestigious European tournament, UniCredit Bulbank will arrange for the lucky winner in the prize draw the accommodation in the hotel and the flight, so that he/she enjoys a pleasant and carefree trip. Detailed information about the terms and conditions for participation you can get on the Internet site of Unicredit Bulbank www.unicreditbulbank.bg.

Because of the expected huge interest, entry to the pavilion for taking pictures with the Trophy will be secured through two lanes. Yet now, the keenest fans can ensure access through the lane for quicker access (VIP entrance) by registering on the site specially designed for the Trophy Tour: www.be-part-of-it.unicredit.eu . There one needs to select one after the other “Trophy’s Tour” and “Tour and exhibition” from the above two lanes. Then, in the VIP access section, people need to register themselves and relatives or friends as VIP guests to the exhibition. The printed registration form has to be presented at the entrance of the pavilion.
