For third year in a row the Regatta of the same name will present the biggest prize fund of 20 000 leva.

One of the most significant yachting activities for the year – the UniCredit Bulbank National Regatta Cup 2008 – will be held from 10th to 13th of July in Sv.Vlas – Marina “Dinevi”. Over 30 yachts with more than 200 participants on the board will measure swords in the third edition of the regatta for the UniCredit Bulbank National Regatta Cup.

An organizer of the championship is the Bulgarian Yachting Federation and UniCredit Bulbank. A host of the regatta is OMK “Nessebar 2000”.

The race will took place between 11th and 13th of July in Sv.Vlas – Marina Dinevi and the south area of the Black Sea coast – from cape Emine to island Sv.Ivan. The first battues under racing distance against and down the wind – will took place on the 11th of July and the long sea trip will be in the next day (12th of July). The regatta closing and rewarding ceremony is foreseen for the 13th of July.

The championship for the UniCredit Bulbank National Regatta Cup is with the biggest prize fund in our country for such activities. The winners will share a prize fund amounting to 20 000 leva.

For the first time in this year edition of the regatta will participate boats holding an IRC certificate, allowing yachts with different constructions and dimensions to compete together and to be positioned under adjusted time. The boats of IRC class can be divided into two or more groups.
