Mr. Giamboi is Head of Retail Banking since the beginning of the year

Pasquale Giamboi became member to the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank. He joins the top management of the Bank after being granted the approval of the Bulgarian National Bank for his new position.

Since the beginning of the year, Pasquale Giamboi is Head of Retail Banking of UniCredit Bulbank. He has 30 years’ experience in banking sphere as his career starts in 1977 in Credito Italiano. Since then, he has held a number of prominent positions in the Retail

Division of the UniCredit Group. In 1995 he took up the responsibility for developing alternative channels and, four years later, he took up the role of Marketing Director for UniCredit.

In October 2000, he became Retail Area Director within the Italian Banks Division of the holding company and in 2001 was nominated Central Codirector.A year later, he was responsible for shareholding coordination in the Retail Banking Division as Deputy General Manager.

From October 2003 until December 2008 he was Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Banca

per la Casa, the first specialized mortgage lender in Italy. From January 2009 until June 2009 he was Chief Operating Officer and Co-director of UniCredit Consumer Financing Bank.

From July 2009 until December 2010 he worked in UniCredit SpA as Head of Business

Advisory Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) Banking Operations.

From March 2010 he has been appointed a Member of Ukrsotsbank JSCB SupervisorBoard.

Starting from 2011, he is Head of the Retail Banking Division of UniCredit Bulbank. Upon

approval from the BNB he will be effective Member of the Management Board of UniCredit

Bulbank.

In October 2004, he was also appointed Italian Vice President of the Executive Committee of

EMF (European Mortgage Federation) and from April 2007 until December 2008 he took up

his position as President of EMF.
