Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will open the European UniCredit Golf Championship for club professionals at Pravets golf course on September 26.
The event which is unique for Eastern Europe and is organized thanks to general partner UniCredit will get together 60 top professionals from more than 30 PGA (Professional Golf Association) member countries in Europe. The participants are winners of national level qualifications and are selected from among over 20,000 club professionals all over Europe.
The European UniCredit Golf Championship for club professionals under the auspices of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is a tournament of big importance for the European professional golf. The impressive prizes totaling EUR 60,000 ensure an extremely high-level play.
The competition is held in four rounds of 18 holes during four days.
The championship will be preceded by a team UniCredit ProAm tournament. Each UniCredit ProAm team comprises 3 amateurs and one professional and practically gives the Bulgarian golf players the unique chance to play side by side to the best club professionals in Europe.
General sponsor of the event is UniCredit Bulbank and it is supported by international companies like Renault-Nissan Bulgaria, Bulgaria Air and other corporate partners.
