Everyone willing to support kids football can do so until 28 May by morphing his or her picture on the website of the initiative www.make-a-kid-smile.eu
Thanks to the campaign, Open Fun Football Schools will be held for the first time in Bulgaria this year in cooperation with the Bulgarian Football Union.
28-year old Rumyana Milcheva happened to be the luckiest participant in the Make A Kid Smile campaign of UniCredit Bulbank – she won two tickets for the UEFA Champions League final between Manchester and Barcelona. The prize was handed over to Rumyana today by the ambassador of the initiative Luis Figo.
Apart from being very lucky, Rumyana turned out to be very generous, too. As at the moment she is on maternity leave and is not able to travel to London, the young lady gave her prize to friends. According to the rules, the traveling costs and the costs for the accommodation in London are paid by UniCredit Bulbank. So, for Rumyana’s friends there remains only the thrill of watching the exceptionally interesting and expected forthcoming clash between Manchester and Barcelona on 28 May on Wembley Stadium.
„I have never imagined that I could win, I participated in the game for fun and also because I knew that by publishing my picture I will help the raising of funds for a noble cause“, shared Rumyana, who is a client of UniCredit Bulbank. She encouraged everyone to keep publishing their morphed pictures on the website of the Make a Kid Smile initiative (www.make-a-kid-smile.eu). For each participant who publishes his or her picture until 28 May, UniCredit Foundation will contribute 10 euro to the humanitarian project “Open Fun Football Schools”. Detailed information on the project is available on the website of UEFA.
Anyone can join with a picture and participating is fun and easy: 1) a person uploads his/her portrait picture at www.make-a-kid-smile.eu as for best results it is recommended that on the picture the person is smiling; 2) the picture is morphed automatically and within a few seconds it is shown on the screen already morphed, the face being converted into a childlike face. For each uploaded picture UniCredit will contribute 10 Euro.
In 2011, UniCredit will finance Open Fun Football Schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and the Ukraine by providing sports facilities and it will also provide funds for starting the project in Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Lithuania and Slovakia. The more participants there are at www.make-a-kid.smile.eu, the more funds will be raised for the initiative.
