The Head of the “Cards” department Mrs. Slavka Valkova was elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Visa Bulgaria Forum. The Forum was created in the end of 2007 and Mrs. Valkova is its first chairman.

„It’s a challenge to work fot the development of card service in the country“, said Mrs. Valkova.

Visa Bulgaria will discuss topics concerning the activities and the politics of Visa in the country. The Committee will inform the banks about modern trends in the cards development.

Visa Bulgaria will also work for making the brand more popular by providing marketing know how and information. The new organization will give advices to Visa Europe about the regulatory frame in Bulgaria and raise issues to Visa Europe Board Directors which may have impact on the Bulgarian market. Working in cooperation with the customers, as well as with the retailers, Visa Bulgaria will make the card market more mature.

Visa Europe has organized its activities by establishing similar Committees in Great Britain, Italy, Greece and Poland.
