The international rating agency Standard and Poor’s evened the rating for UniCredit Bulbank with the rating of the country. The actual rating became BBB/A-3 with a stable outlook.

The analysts from Standard’s and Poor’s point out that the reason for the change in the credit rating of UniCredit Bulbank is the decline of the rating of Bulgaria a few days ago. According to the rules the credit rating of a financial institution cannot be higher than that of the country, in which it operates.

The financial profile of UniCredit Bulbank will remain unchanged for the next two years and it will be of strategic importance for UniCredit Group states the official report of Standard and Poor’s.
