UniCredit Bulbank is the strongest brand in Bulgaria among financial institutions. This shows in the results announced today from the independent research among Bulgarian consumers by initiative of the global organization Superbrands.
The methodology for selection and evaluation of the brands is universal for all countries where the programme Superbrands is implemented. The selection process involves two stages: secret voting of the members of the independent expert jury – the Board of Superbrands Bulgaria, and nationwide voting of the consumers on the Internet. This provides a possibility for considering the experts’ opinion in parallel with the opinion of the consumers.
Partner of Superbrands in the conducting of the nationwide voting of the consumers on the Internet is the leading Institute for market research GFK Bulgaria.
In the evaluation process the experts and the consumers are led by the definition and the criteria of the world organization for Superbrands: Superbrands is a brand that has built up excellent reputation in its sector and offers significant material and emotional advantages compared to its competitors. These advantages, consciously or not, are recognized by the consumers and they want to have them.
UniCredit Bulbank is the largest Bulgarian bank with assets exceeding BGN 12 billion as at the end of September 2011. The bank serves more than one million individuals and households, private customers, SME, large local and international companies etc. UniCredit was announced Bank of the Year in the last poll of the international The Banker magazine.
