"Replica" theatre ensemble is this year's winner of the prestigious Flight in Art Award of "Stoyan Kambarev" Foundation. UniCredit Bulbank is a main partner of the event through the bank's program "FOR art", in support of quality Bulgarian culture and art. With its five-year history, Flight in Art has become one of the most prestigious art awards for talented young artists in Bulgaria.

"Replica" theatre ensemble was presented with the prize personally by the President of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevenliev, at a ceremony held in Sofia Live Club last evening. Plevenliev highlighted that Bulgaria had a lot of talent and potential and that their development should continue.

For a third year UniCredit Bulbank presented one of the five "Flight in Art" nominees with a special prize.

This year UniCredit's prize went to the young Bulgarian artist Kalina Mavrodieva and was bestown by the bank's CEO, Levon Hampartzoumian. The prize includes an individual exhibition in the UniCredit Studio modern art gallery and the issuing of a luxurious catalogue.

The "Flight in Art" nominations are made by public figures renown in our cultural and social life, including Elin Rahnev, Samuel Fintsi, Georgi Lozanov, Kremena Dimitrova, Rumen Tsonkov, Marieta Tsenova, Dimitar Gochev, Mina Mileva, Svetlin Neinski and Boiko Bogdanov. The Management Board is chaired by actor and producer Desi Tenekedzhieva. This year's nominees were Ilina Ilieva - 17-year old violist; Ivan Dimitrov - play-writer, poet and writer; Kalina Mavrodieva - artist; "Replica" theatre ensemble directed by Georg Genoux and actor Hristo Ushev.
