The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank, Levon Hampartzoumian, presented to top clients and partners the new General Manager and Deputy Chairman of the MB Enrico Minniti.

Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) awarded with a plaque and a certificate the former General Manager of UniCredit Bulbank Andrea Casini „for the contribution in achieving the goals and objectives of BCCI and the co-operation through providing useful and up-to-date economic and financial information“. The award was presented by the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov at a business event with clients and partners of the bank.

The event hosted by the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit BulbankLevon Hampartzoumian was on the occasion of the successful completion of the mandate of Andrea Casini in Bulgaria and the official presenting of the new General Manager and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Enrico Minniti.

„It is a great honor for me to thank Mr Casini with this plaque and certificate for his loyalty to Bulgarian business , for his commitment and the security that he provided to Bulgarian enterpreneurs“, said Tsvetan Simeonov.

Andrea Casini said that to him Bulgaria is his second home. „I am proud that we, at UniCredit Bulbank, support the enterpreneurs and the enterprising“, Casini pointed out. He thanked Levon Hampartzoumian for the support that he received from him and for the good team they created together. „I leave a strong team of people that will ensure continuity; and my successor in office - Enrico Minniti is an excellent manager with strong international experience", stated Casini.

„Foreign managers say that when someone comes to Bulgaria they cry twice - the first time is when being told that they got a mandate here, and the second time - when they leave“, said Levon Hampartzoumian. He wished success to Casini and Minniti.

„I am eager to continue this work stepping on the solid ground which I inherit from Andrea, from the team led by Levon Hampartzoumian, from the local community and the clients that contribute to the success of the bank“, said Enrico Minniti.

In the beginning of September Andrea Casini took a new role in UniCredit as Co-head of the Group's Italian business.

Enrico Minniti has substantial professional experience in several banks in UniCredit. He started his career in Credito Italiano as a relationship manager in 1997, and in 2000 he took on managerial responsibility in the structured finance department. In 2003, he moved to UBM where he worked towards the strengthening of UniCredit's leadership in financing in Italy.

The international career of Enrico Minniti started with his appointment as manager of the specialized lending unit in Bank Austria in Vienna in 2007. After that in 2008 he joined the team of Ukrsotsbank in Ukraine as Head of Real Estate, Specialized Lending and Restructuring.

In 2010 he was invited to return to Bank Austria to create the department for coordination of the financing activities in CEE. Under his management UniCredit has established itself as a CEE leader in this field and has won several prestigious international awards.

In March 2015, Enrico Minniti became Head of CEE CIB and has contributed to the development of the business in the region.
