“Both in the economy and in politics there is need for competent professionals,” said Mr. Hampartzoumian on the occasion of the students’ visit.

The three Managers for a Day are on a visit to UniCredit Bulbank as part of the “Manager for a Day” initiative which is organized every year by Junior Achievements Bulgaria. The three students at the University of National and World Economy, Angel Petrov, Gabriela Asenova and Simona Dimitrova were welcomed by the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Levon Hampartzoumian, and the Chief Operating Officer, Andrea Casini.

“Both in the economy and in politics there is need for competent professionals. It is important that there are new quality persons, highly-educated intelligent young people with a flair for innovation,” commented Levon Hampartzoumian. He not only told them about the work at the bank but also advised them never to stop learning and to continue with their self-improvement even when they graduate from the university.

Angel is a first-year student, studying both Law at New Bulgarian University and Finance, Accounting and Control at University of National and World Economy. Gabriela is a third-year student in Administration and Management at University of National and World Economy and Simona is a third-year student in Finance at the same university.

“Good luck in the world of business,” Andrea Casini wished the young managers. Apart from Mr. Hampartzoumian and Mr. Casini the three bankers for a day also met the Head of the largest branch of UniCredit Bulbank, Sveta Nedelya Branch. By the end of their working day at the bank the young managers will also get to know the work of the following divisions and department – Corporate Banking, Financial Markets, Cards, Human Resources and Identity and Communications.

The “Manager for a Day” initiative provides the students from all other the country with the opportunity to experience a real working day of representatives of the business, state institutions and non-governmental organizations. The Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, officially opened the event which sees over 250 leading companies, organizations and state institutions meeting more than 1000 students.
