Three-time winner of the UniCredit PGA Professional Championship of Europe Hugo Santos from Portugal stands a real chance of defending his title

In the third round of the PGA Professional Championship of Europe, which has been taking place at Pravets Golf Club since 2011 with the support of UniCredit Bulbank, a real chance of becoming champion of Europe for the fourth time has once again the PGA of Portugal’s Hugo Santos. In the third round of the championship at the Pravets golf course today he posted the record 10 under par, which has so far moved him to third position.

Despite the first two days of the championship being not really favorable to the Portuguese, today he made up for them and moved to third place with a total score of -12.

The leader in the ranking so far remains the PGA in England’s Matthew Cort with a total score from the three rounds of - 16, followed by PGA of Spain’s José Adarraga (-13).

Whether Hugo will defend his title this year will become clear tomorrow, October 17th.
