She managed the Group's pilot project "Branch of the Future".
Tsvetanka Mincheva is the new Head of Retail Banking at UniCredit Bulbank. From 2011 until now, she was Deputy Head of Retail Banking Division. Alongside this duty, she was in charge of the development of the bank's alternative channels such as online banking, mobile banking, etc. The new Head of Retail Banking is also known for managing the Group's pilot project Branch of the Future. The first branch of this series opened in Bulgaria at the beginning of this year.
"Most of the positions which I have held at the bank were related to business development and implementation of innovations. I am convinced that even in a sector which is traditionally perceived as conservative, such as the banking sector, our work will continue to be dedicated to our customers and we will keep up with the speed of change of their needs", Tsvetanka Mincheva commented.
Mrs. Mincheva is an example of a person who has gradually built a career within one company, starting at UniCredit Bulbank as an intern. She has since held various positions at the bank such as seller, affluent clients relationship manager, branch manager, mass market manager, etc.
In 2001, she graduated in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy. Two years later, she graduated with an MBA in International Business from the MIB School of Management in Trieste, Italy.
Mrs. Mincheva now takes on the position of Head of Retail Banking Division from Pasquale Giamboi, whose term of office in Bulgaria expired. He continues his career as Chief Operating Officer of UniCredit S.p.A. Permanent Establishment Vienna.
An interesting fact about Ms. Mincheva is that before going seriously into the banking sector, she spent five years in fashion design.
