Clients from Sofia and Varna, holders of a VISA card, issued by UniCredit Bulbank, are the lucky winners of a seven-day excursion to Thailand. The names of K.K. and Mitko Dimitrov were drawn in the presence of a notary. Each of them may take a partner with him/her on the unique trip. K.K. (we respect his/her wish to remain anonymous) and Mitko Dimitrov were among the thousand of VISA card holders who took part in the lottery within the campaign entitled: “Thailand Destination Possible with VISA”. Eligible participants were all natural persons holding VISA credit or debit cards, issued by UniCredit Bulbank: VISA Credit, VISA Debit, Visa Electron and V PAY, the most secure payment card.

The only condition for participation in the lottery was making at least five payments in stores or websites with a VISA card, issued by Unicredit Bulank, in the 2 August – 30 September 2010 period.

The “Thailand Destination Possible with VISA” campaign complies with the Bank’s policy for promoting cashless payments with card products. The prizes are awarded on a lottery principle and are provided with the kind assistance of the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Sofia as well as thanks to the long-term successful business relations between UniCredit Bulbank and Visa Europe.

The lucky winners of the grand prix each are given a tourist package for two involving accommodation in a five-star hotel, three overnights in Bangkok and four overnights in Huahine. Thailand, also known as the “country of smiles”, combines thousand-year history and rich culture with exotic eastern nature.

The Bank has also envisaged other awards within the campaign: 50 Vista binoculars. The names of the five winners will be published on its website later this week after obtaining their consent.
