Trade financing innovation in Bulgaria: UniCredit Bulbank now accepts also online orders for trade financing transactions and provides an option also for access to information for bank guarantees, letters of credit and collection documents in real time.

Within just a few days two independent and competitive international rankings – those of the magazines Euromoney and Global Finance – definitively declared UniCredit Bulbank “The Best Trade Finance Bank” for 2016 in Bulgaria. The leading European banking group UniCredit was awarded by the two magazines also for the entire Central and Eastern Europe region.

The ranking of Global Finance covers analyzers, top managers and experts in 84 countries. The winners are announced in the February issue of the magazine. The best bank is determined on the basis of the volume of transactions and market share in trade financing, product and technology innovations, customer service, etc.

The ranking of Euromoney is a result of journalist analyses of the market and feedback from a survey among clients using the service.

The clients of UniCredit Bulbank can now use a new Trade Financing module as part of the Bulbank Online service. This is a new functionality for acceptance of applications from corporate clients and execution of trade financing transactions. The platform has been developed in order to facilitate and accelerate the communication between the transaction parties through a possibility for processing of and access to information about bank guarantees, letters of credit and collection documents.
