After dramatic last minutes under the torrential rain on the Pravets golf course and a perfect 10-meter putting on 18th green, Santos defended his title of Champion of Europe in the UniCredit 2012 PGA Professional Championship of Europe.

Only one shot behind tied-for-second place remained Lee Rooke from Wales, Frederic Cupillard from France and Mikel Galdos from Spain.

The UniCredit 2012 PGA Professional Championship of Europe was held under the patronage of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. The prize fund is 60,000 euro, of which 10,000 euro go to the winner.

The title sponsor of the event is UniCredit Bulbank.
