• Septimiu Postelnicu, currently Deputy CEO, and Raluca Popescu, currently Head of Corporate Banking, will continue their successful careers at UniCredit Bank Romania as designated CEO and Executive Vice President Corporate respectively;
• Albert Angersbach will take the position as Chief Risk Officer of UniCredit Bulbank

The Supervisory Board of UniCredit Bulbank nominated Borislav Bangeev as the new Head of Corporate Banking while remaining Member of the Management Board of the bank. He will replace Raluca Popescu who will continue her successful career as Executive Vice President Corporate in UniCredit Bank Romania.

Borislav Bangeev will be replaced in his Chief Risk Officer role by Albert Angersbach, who will also become Member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank after receiving the necessary regulatory approvals.

The Supervisory Board of UniCredit Bulbank has voted to release from their previous positions Septimiu Postelnicu, deputy CEO, and Raluca Popescu, Head of Corporate Banking. As a next step in his career Septimiu Postelnicu has been designated as a successor for the role as CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank Romania. He will start exercising his responsibilities after the finalization of the prior approval process to be carried on by the National Bank of Romania.

Albert Angersbach has many years of experience in Risk management at UniCredit. He started his career in the group in 2006, having successively held various positions, including Chief Risk Officer of Zagrebačka banka in Croatia, Yapi Credi (while part of UniCredit) and UniCredit Bank Russia.
