Over 460 interns participated in the programme last year and 22% of them continued their career with the bank
UniCredit Bulbank gives a chance to over 400 talented students and young professionals to start their career through the 2015 Internship Programme. It is going to be the already ninth edition of the programme and since 2007 over 2000 interns have made the first steps in their career with UniCredit Bulbank. Last year 22% of the interns remained to work with the bank.
In 2015, the future interns will be able to choose among positions with UniCredit Bulbank but also with UniCredit Leasing, UniCredit Factoring and UniCredit Consumer Financing. The internship opportunities with the bank are in the branch network all over the country or in the Head Office in the following areas: Retail Banking; Markets and Brokerage; Corporate and Private Banking; Information Technologies; Operations; Risk Management and Non-performing Loans; Bank Security; Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction; Marketing and Advertising; Identity and Communications; HR and Call Center.
The internship has an initial duration of 3 months and depending on the willingness of the intern and the capacity of the bank, it can be extended to 6 months. Interns receive a monthly remuneration. For the participants in the programme who need to balance between their time in the bank and university attendance, the bank can offer flexible working time.
Internship candidates can apply on the website of UniCredit Bulbank at www.unicreditbulbank.bg or send their CV and letter of motivation to kpctAvojdsfejuhspvq/ch with subject internship. The submission deadline is at least one month before the desired start of the internship.
This year the Bank will join again the “Intern with a Cause” initiative of CSR Bulgaria for activation and development of the corporate social responsibility of organizations. By supporting this project, UniCredit Bulbank gives its interns a chance to change themselves and the work habits of the people around them. With a participation in the initiative the interns can add value by fulfilling one or several causes chosen by them which support the sustainable development of the company.
Some of the causes fulfilled by the interns of UniCredit Bulbank over the last year are:
• Recycling / reuse of the paper in the office;
• The saving of main resources in the office – interns remind their colleagues to be more frugal at the office by turning off the computers, lights and heating when they will be outside of the office for a longer time.
• Entering the rule "20-20-20" – interns monitor the observing of the rule that every 20 minutes of work with computers people take a break for at least 20 seconds. In those 20 seconds they should look at an object which is around 20 meters away from them in order to calm down the mind and give a rest for the eyes.
