The young people will be able to work on real-life business projects with the support of mentors from the bank.
UniCredit Bulbank has started the second edition of My Bank of the Future programme. It is implemented jointly with the online platform of www.kosher.bg and is intended for students from various universities and majors related to the banking business – finance, economics, business administration, marketing, information technologies, accounting, etc. The participants in My Bank of the Future 2.0. will be able to work on real business projects with the support of managers from the bank who will be their mentors. Moreover, they will undergo trainings and after the programme final they will be able to start an internship with the bank.
Tsvetanka Mincheva, Deputy Head of Retail Banking Division commented that “My Bank of the Future Programme is an excellent opportunity for the young to see the business “from the inside”. We stimulate them to think outside the box, to show creativity and to take initiative. We expect them to be committed to the project on which they work and to feel free to present it to the management team of the bank”. She explained further that all this gives an opportunity for the students to grow as persons and to acquire know-how that they can use in their future professional realization even if it is not in banking.
To join the programme students must register a banking club in the online platform of www.kosher.bg and express their willingness to become part of the programme My Bank of the Future 2.0 by 15th April 2013. After that UniCredit Bulbank will contact the clubs to inform them about the next steps. The programme will end by the end of July this year. Students can choose among six projects in the field of Corporate Banking, Retail Banking and IT, Marketing and Communications, Business Development.

Further to the opportunity to work on projects, UniCredit Bulbank gives a chance to 400 students to start an internship with the bank. The 2013 Internship Programme has already started, and this is its seventh consecutive edition. Since 2007, 1,850 interns have made the first steps of their career with UniCredit Bulbank. Last year 25% of the participants in the internship programme remained to work in the bank.
